Magical Evening - September 5, 2008

This year's forthcoming 28th anniversary of the "Magical Evening" charity garden party will again be at the beautiful estate home of Rusty and Bebe Grosse. Put the date of Friday September 5, 2008 on your calendar for a fun-packed evening. This year's theme is "Surfing Safari". See old friends and make new ones.

Please keep us in mind for any gift donations you can make for the auction.

Oktoberfest - October 4, 2008

Oktoberfest

The annual Oktoberfest will take place at the Holiday Park in Carlsbad on October 4, 2008. This event is sponsored by the Carlsbad Rotary Club and a significant part of the proceeds raised will be donated to WRC. Our organization typically has 40 or more volunteers donating their time at the event. Holiday Park is located on the east side of I-5 between Carlsbad Village Drive and Tamarack.

Hear the oom-pa-pa German band, dance to the chicken dance and eat sauerkraut, bratwurst, and knockwurst and potato salad. Wash it down with good beer or soft drinks. There are plenty of activities for kids of all ages.
